Our Projects

We are working presently on two projects for the upliftment of women affected with violences against them.

The history of violence against women remains vague in scientific literature. This is impart, because many kinds of violence against women (specifically rape, sexual assault and domestic violence) are under reported, often due to social norms, taboos, stigma and sensitive nature of the subject. It is widely recognized that even today, a lack of reliable and continuous data is an obstacle to form a clear picture of violence against women. Although the history of violence against women is difficult to track, it is clear that, much of violence against women was accepted.

Violence against women is a persistent and universal problem, occurring in every culture and social group, around the world at least one in every three women has been experiencing violences, otherwise abused in her life time. Violence against women has been called the most pervasive, yet least recognized human rights abuse in the world. Violence against women is often known as gender based violence because it mostly stems from women’s subordinate status in the society.

OUR FIRST PROJECT:

We intend to carry on this project in a caravan with the title “Spoorthy” – means Inspiration, with a tag line “Building Fearless and Tearless Tomorrow”. Our caravan consists of a 12 member crew with two persons related to media, who uploads the day to day progress of our program in the social media, electronic and print media where this inspires the people to think about their part in this and try to come out. Our crew again is carried with two lady orators who are actual victims of GBV and can preach about the concept with ease and show the people of the gathering in personal about the nature of the violence through their speeches. As this is a burning issue in today’s society, we intend to put all our efforts in a dedicated manner and fight maximum for elimination of violence against women and try to make women free from the violences as far as possible. We take this as a challenging issue and make everyone to fight themselves for elimination of gender based violence against women and to see a “fearless and tearless tomorrow”.

In our first project Spoorthy, we intend to go the towns and villages of Andhra Pradesh enlightening people not to indulge in violences against women irrespective of the relationship and as well as women to be careful in every moment of their life, keep guessing about the behavior of men surrounding them.
